KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 22

Yuwa Films have announced the auditions for the lead and supporting roles for its official Nepali remake of the South Indian film, Arjun Reddy.

The production company that received permission for the production and distribution of the Nepali remake is preparing to conduct the auditions for the cast within a few days.

Although the remake was announced last year, it was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The original Telugu language Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Devarakonda was directed by Sandeep Vanga which had reportedly grossed ₹510 million globally.

Meanwhile, the Bollywood remake named Kabir Singh staring Shahid Kapoor had grossed over ₹379 crores.

The Bhadrakali Pictures, the production company of Arjun Reddy and Keshav Khadka from Yuwa Films have already signed an agreement in the United States for the remake.

This will the first remake of a South Indian film that is going to be produced in Nepal after receiving copyright for the same.

The Nepali remake will be produced by Keshav Khadka and Aashish Shrestha.
