NEW YORK: Oscar winning actor Morgan Freeman has a handwritten note from Nelson Mandela. Freeman met the Nobel Peace Prize winner and former South African president to do some research for his new role in the movie A long Walk to Freedom in which he plays Mandela, says pagesix.com.

He was seen with the note on the flight from Johannesburg to New York. Freeman told South Africa’s Cape Times, “I don’t just want to be playing Nelson Mandela, I want people to think I am him.”
