Kylie Minogue has slammed “offensive” accusations she is having an affair with a married man.

The 38-year-old singer vehemently denies she flew to Chile last week for a romantic liaison with South American director Alexander Dahm, 39, insisting the pair are just “good friends”.

She said, “I have never been unfaithful to a partner and would find it completely immoral to be involved with a married man.”

Kylie, who has been staying at Dahm’s £1 million apartment in the idyllic province of Colchagua, insists the pair are working on a new film project.

In a posting on her website, she wrote, “I’m working on an idea for a new musical film. It’s very exciting for all the team involved. Just to whet your appetites, I had the pleasure of learning to tango from some of the South America’s best.”

Dahm, whose wife Laura, who is eight months pregnant with their second child, has remained at the couple’s marital Mexico home, has also rubbished affair allegations. He said, “I emphatically deny those rumours, they are total rubbish.”

Kylie has been single since splitting from Olivier Martinez in February.
