KATHMANDU:

Having performed in many of the high end restaurants and bars in the Capital, the second edition of the Surya Classic Encounters that began on September 3, will come to an end on September 20 at the Liquid Lounge with 1974 AD Unplugged.

This round of Encounters had kicked off with 1974 AD Unplugged and is also ending with the same band. They will be perfroming instrumental, jazz, blues, funk tracks like Irish Coffee, P Funk, Crossing, and their own Nepali jazz composition Timro Maya along with evergreen numbers like Samjhi Baschhu and of course their new song Madhu Masta.

Stupa played at Rodi Bar, Soaltee Crowne Plaza, while Cadenza mesmerised the Olive Bar crowd at Radisson on September 15.

September 16 again saw Cadenza play to their fans and the music lovers of the Capital at the Fusion Bar at Dwarika’s.

The Classic Encounters is a Surya Classic event and is an exclusive ‘invitation only’ musical programme managed by PartyNepal. The Classic Encounters have been held as a build-up to Surya Classic Jazzmandu 2006, to be held from October 12.

The Surya Classic Encounters will begin at 8:00 pm sharp.
