London: Naomi Campbell failed to show up at a charity event she organised in Cannes because her stylist reportedly disappeared with her clothes. The supermodel had invited about 50 guests for lunch and a live auction at the French resort’s VIP Club to raise money for Nelson Mandela’s Children’s Foundation. “Naomi’s stylist disappeared with all her clothes. She sat on a boat waiting for two hours for new clothes to arrive. In the end, she borrowed a dress from a girlfriend,” a source said. The event was abandoned when Campbell failed to arrive. — HNS
