This is the first school the government has recognised to teach music at the secondary level.

The government had given validity to the music course in the secondary level from 2015.

According to Dr. Bal Krishna Ranjit, Director of the School, the School would expand formal courses in music up to higher level in the upcoming days and take the form of a university later.

There are six students in the class nine this year and the school is planning to run the classes up to grade 12, Principal Iman Bikram Shah informed.
