Chef Santosh Shah has won the title of MasterChef: The Professional Rematch.
Chef Shah (34) who was runner up in the Master Chef UK – The Professional 2020, competed with four other chefs who too were runners up in the previous edition of the series.
Shah faced up against 2020 finalists Philli Armitage-Mattin and Bart van der Lee, as well as 2017 finalist Jamie Park.
Unlike MasterChef, this competition is about competing to demonstrate how far their food and professions have developed by overcoming two hard tasks set by the MasterChef judges.
In the competition's final challenge, the chefs were required to prepare a celebratory feast, and Shah won the title by preparing a vegan Nepali meal inspired by the Dashain festival.
