to gift the Nepali food lovers the most authentic in Chinese cuisines. Chef Sufeng, who has been in this profession for the last 18 years, is now here to take over the menu of the Arniko Room restaurant at the hotel. Since Chef Sufeng always enjoyed travelling and had a lot of friends in Nepal, coming here was an obvious choice for him. hotel management graduate from the Beijing Cooking College, Chef Sufeng was posted at the Holiday Inn in Islamabad,
Pakistan for more than a year before coming to Nepal. Chef Sufeng specialises in Chinese cuisine especially from the Szechuan and Huaiyang regions. “I love preparing sea food for my guests and some of my favourite delicacies are ‘Crysanthemum Fish’, ‘Squirrel Fish’ and
‘Chinese Pork’,” he expresses. He in fact spent an entire day in Bhaktapur fishing for the best fish in town.
A peculiarity of the Chef is the fact that he has imported all his spices and flavourings from China to give his food the typical authentic Chinese taste and has also brought along Chinese pork. The restaurant will be making changes in its menu and will also be hosting a number of festivals in order to promote Chinese gourmet cuisine.
