New things in MJ’s life

You may soon be seeing Michael Jackson on the big screen. The entertainer is in a movie titled ‘Miss Cast Away’, about a group of beauty pageant contestants who crash-land on a deserted island, where they find Noah’s Ark.

Jackson plays a force sent by the pope in a beam of light to dispense wisdom to the stranded women. No word on when or how the movie will be released.

In other news, Jackson is making good on his promise to put the ‘Never’ in Neverland. In his ‘60 Minutes’ interview, Jackson said he wouldn’t go back to live at his estate after police combed through it in a criminal raid.

Now, the television show ‘Extra’ reports the singer has rented a multi-million dollar home in Beverly Hills, California. The report says the mansion doesn’t have anywhere near the square footage of his Neverland Ranch, but it does have a tennis court and swimming pool.

The embattled pop star’s new residence is a massive, $20-million estate that overlooks a children’s park in Coldwater Canyon, a website report said.

“It’s one of the crown jewels of Beverly Hills,” a real estate source was quoted as saying.

The 37,000-square-foot mansion, sitting on 2.25 acres in one of the most exclusive areas of north Beverly Hills, has nine bedroom suites, 10 baths, a theatre, a tennis court and indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

The website report said Jackson took over the mansion in early December. The estate is owned by a group of Asian businessmen, who tried to sell the house, but took it off the market in October.

The house was reputedly rented for Jackson by Leonard Muhammad, the chief of staff for the Nation of Islam, a controversial black Muslim separatist group.

The report said Muhammad played a key role as Jackson’s gatekeeper in his seven counts of molesting a 13-year-old child. Spokespersons for Jackson have denied the star’s link to the Islam group.

Jackson was freed on November 20 after surrendering to Santa Barbara police and posting a $3-million bail. He is to be arraigned on January 16.
