Nintendo’s Wii Sports is the title to beat at the 2007 Bafta Video Game Awards after getting seven nominations. In Wii Sports gamers try a number of different sports like baseball and tennis, using the console’s special control system to play. Among the seven awards the game could win are best game, best gameplay, best multiplayer game and best sports game. It’s also up for the best innovation award, which is the prize for the most original game of the year.
