Socialite Paris Hilton’s mother is playing Tom Cruise’s wife in a comic scene in Ben Stiller’s Tropic Thunder. “She filmed the scene last winter and didn’t even tell her kids because she wanted to surprise them. She raved about Tom. She said he was so warm and friendly and made her very comfortable,” hollywood.com quoted a source as saying.

Cruise is also doing a cameo in Tropic Thunder and his surprise appearance in the film hit the headlines late last year, when the movie superstar was spotted sporting a bald hairpiece and prosthetic belly on the sets of the film. Tropic Thunder stars Stiller, Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr.
