Winners will be chosen for each age group, with owners set to bag big-money prizes, including posh cars. The event is designed to remind people of traditional desert values. Entry is open to anyone who can prove ownership of a pure-bred cam-el. The animals must be free from disease. The first camel beauty contest took place six years ago.
