Pitt, Clooney fall out over Higgins’ role
LONDON: One of Hollywood’s famous friendships between George Clooney and Brad Pitt seems to be over. The fallout took place over a film role.
Clooney revealed he is no longer speaking to Pitt as they both want to play Henry Higgins in the remake of My Fair Lady, reports ananova.com.
George told friends, “We both badly want a particular role and neither is backing down. It’s sort of become an intense competition between us and it just keeps escalating. We’re both so angry we’re not even in contact any more.”
Pitt has told his pals that he has been wanting to play the role since his childhood when he first became a fan of the film. He also wants partner Angelina Jolie to play Eliza Dolittle.
But, have the pair really fallen out? After all, George is known for his pranks — is this just another tongue-in-cheek comment that has been blown out of all proportion? Keira Knightley recently revealed she has already auditioned for the part of Eliza, but who her Professor will be is not decided yet.
