Pokhara picks its supermodels

Pokhara:

Five finalists of the Lux Supermodel Hunt from Pokhara were selected on September 2. The five models from Pokhara who made it to final round to be held in Kathmandu were Manita Pun, Shristi Tamang,

Bijita Bijukche, Sunita Gurung and Bidhya Thapa.

Representative of Unilever Nepal, the organiser of the event, Sachin Shrestha said the model hunt was being organised to give an opportunity to girls to prove their talents and enhance their personality.

Altogether 13 girls of Lekhnath municipality and Pokhara sub-Metropolis of Kaski district had participated in the preliminary round, which was organised by Pokharacity.com and Creative Eye.

The girls were selected in the basis of beauty, body structure, height, confidence and attractive personality. Earlier on August 26, five models from Biratnagar were selected. Ten finalists from Kathmandu will be selected on September 9. The 20 finalists selected in the preliminary rounds will then compete in the grand finale to be held in Kathmandu on September 22. The finalists will be given training on beauty and personality development from September 17 to 21.

The winner will be awarded Rs 50,000 while the first and second runner up will get Rs 25,000 and Rs 15,000 each respectively.
