WASHINGTON: Victoria Beckham has reportedly bagged a role in the upcoming Madagascar flick.

Posh had earlier made a cameo appearance in Ugly Betty and provided a voice-over for the popular kids show Spongebob Squarepants.

And now the 35-year-old former Spice Girl is all set to lend her voice to a character in the animated film Madagascar 3, slated for release in 2012, reports Contactmusic.

The previous movies of the franchise, Madagascar (2005) and Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (2008) have been successful internationally.
