Priyanka loves home made food

MUMBAI: In her own words, Priyanka Chopra feels that she is overworked and underpaid.

She has three releases coming back to back- Vishal Bhardwaj’s Kaminey, Ashutosh Gowariker’s What’s Your Rashee? and Jugal Hansraj’s Pyaar Impossible. She might be lean fashionably, but has a sucking health record.

Having bagged ten awards in six months for her film Fashion, the actress is already on cloud 9. She also has quite a lot of diet restrictions from Dr Madhu Chopra, her mother. “I can’t eat anything except home-cooked meals”, the actress says. She even carries her home cooked food at the five star hotels she frequents.

“My immune system has just gone a bit haywire”, she admits. This happened as the she got swamped by the efforts she had to put in to play 12 characters in her upcoming film Whats Your Rashee?.

For this film, she even studied that with the exception of one Hindi film actor in the silent era in 1920, who has played 16 characters.

“The only change—for the hip girl from Nairobi or the simple one from a village in Oonjha is a walk, a voice note or a subtle difference in the make-up,’’ she says.

“I’m going to take sleeping pills and wake up after three days”, confesses the actress.

“That will truly be my reward,’’ she smiles. “Believe me, I have put in my sweat, tears and blood into this film. It is the most difficult film in my career. No wonder my system packed up,’’ she adds.
