Kathmandu:

My wife of four years wants to end our marriage. Why? I don’t know. She is at her parent’s home now.

Ours is an inter-caste marriage and we eloped to be together. Now she wants to say goodbye.

On realising that many mistakes were because of me, I’d promise her things would be different, but she wasn’t satisfied with my answer. She told me she wasn’t satisfied with my family. I told her I would give them up for her. But she didn’t agree.

I don’t think she’s taken the decision on her own. I know she has her family’s support. But don’t they realise they are destroying their daughter/sister’s life?

What man and wife doesn’t have problems? I have tried to contact her, but to no avail. But I am confident that she loves me even today. I’d like to tell her that I really love her and am ready to do anything for her.
