KATHMANDU: Kollywood’s sizzling actress Richa Ghimire is all set to get married on December 12 with director and producer Shankar Ghimire, a local resident of Chitwan.

All the film industry members and politicians are being invited to her wedding. She is hosting a reception at Hotel Hyatt Regency.

The marriage comes on the heels of the release of their first film together as producer and actress. Their first film Bish (poision) has just been released this month and they are getting married on December 12.

Richa said “He is madly in love with me and has bought a house for me in Chabahil.” She added “After marriage we are going to stay in our new home.”

“I am really excited about my marriage and it means a lot to me and my family because this is the first marriage in our family with the entire ritual ceremony of the Hindu religion. The Sindhur, Pote ceremony will be held at 2pm on December 12 while the reception will be on the same day in the evening.” She could hardly contain her excitement while revealing her wedding plans.

She added “I want everything to be special in the ceremony so I have ordered my dress from Kabya boutique for the wedding ceremony and for the reception I have ordered a dress form Image boutique. All the jewellery is from Kathmandu but bangles are being ordered from Banaras and the bindhi will come from Delhi.”

In response to a query about her future plans she said “I have announced a new movie Tulasi which he is going to direct and we will make at least two or three films each year. We will work together and I will continue to work after marriage.”

She revealed that they are both exactly the same age i.e 27.

They will be going to London for their honeymoon where they will also attend the red carpet preview of their movie Birata ko Chino.

Shankar, her would be husband is relatively new to the film industry and has produced two films while she is one of the leading actresses in the Nepali film industry
