Richards still in hospital
AUCKLAND: Rolling Stone guitarist Keith Richards remained hospitalised in northern New Zealand on May 1 with a head injury reportedly sustained falling out of a coconut tree at a resort in Fiji last week.
Mystery still surrounds exactly how Richards hit his head. The Wakaya Club resort where he had been staying refused comment and a Rolling Stones spokeswoman issued a brief statement saying he “suffered a mild concussion”.
On Monday, a basket of fruit — no coconut included — was delivered for the 62-year-old rocker but there was little other activity outside the hospital.
