SCHOOL TIMES : Never give up

I am eager to share my experience of participating in Miss Little Newa Competition. I worked hard for the competition and showed my talent in front of teachers who gave us training during the event. They liked my performance and complimented me for my talent and liveliness. I enjoyed my training period a lot as I made a lot of new friends and also got an opportunity to learn new things as well. It really boost up my confidence level.

Finally, the grand finale arrived and I was very enthusiastic about the event. First we did the welcome dance. Then we introduced ourselves to the audience. Then the winner of the Best Dressed title was announced which was followed by the selection of top 15 contestants. I was very confident about myself. But to my surprise my name was not announced.

However I won the title of Miss Best Performance and got a trophy. What surprised me is that although my overall performance was always considered the best throughout the training period I was not even selected in Top 15. I was so shattered at that moment that I broke down.

Well, every end has a new beginning and after every dark night a new morning comes. We all have good and bad experiences in life. I know this is not the end of life. There are lots of other things that I need to do in life.

So, friends the message that I want to convey to all is ‘Don’t give up’. Don’t get upset

over your failures, as one

day you will get a chance to prove yourself.
