SCHOOL TIMES : That silver lining
One day I asked a man, “Where can we find peace?”
He smiled back and said, “There is no such place where peace prevails.”
I was shocked to hear this because somewhere at the back of my mind I had this thought that there is a place where there is peace and happiness. But was I was totally wrong? Why do problems always surround us? Problems at home, in society and in the whole nation. Troubles seem to be our inseparable friends. We cannot avoid or stop them.
Babies are the happiest people in this whole world. But when they grow up, they forget happiness as trouble surrounds them. They have responsibilities to fulfil and the smile and happiness are all gone.
But then we must realise that every cloud has a silver lining and after every night there is a bright day ahead. So we must be optimistic and carry on with our lives. — Abani Bhandari, Class IX, GEMS
