Science exhibition at Nobel

KATHMANDU: Nobel Academy organised an exhibition of science projects ‘Nobel Science Exhibition 2004’ on March 7. Class one to nine students had prepared projects on various science topics such as volcanoes, hydro-electricity, telescopes, etc. Altogether, 130 stalls had been set up. “Science is learning by doing,” emphasised Hukum Raj, head of the department of science.

Tarun Garg, student of class nine who had volunteered to set up a stall on hydro-electricity said that his teachers have been a great help. Another student explaining a project on volcanoes said that the whole preparation was very exciting and that they have learnt a lot. — HNS
