Sirish musical talent unveiled
KATHMANDU: Multi talented child Sirish Gurung, who had surprised everyone with his uncommon talents like driving a car and motorcycle at the age of five, unveiled yet another talent as a keyboard player. Eleven-year-old Gurung presented his musical talent in his first album Sirish Ko Dhun 2066.
The album was released at an event organised at Nepal Police Club on December 12. It consists of instrumental numbers composed by Gurung on eight different Nepali songs like Asare Mahina, Chiso Chiso Hawama, and Phool Ko Aankha Ma among others. Gurung, who is a Class VII student also played Charile ta Chhadera Gaigayo at at the event.
“I had a desire to learn piano and used to practice since I was five ,” he shared.
Actor Madan Krishna Shrestha stated, “Though only a child, the kind of tunes he has created are good enough to touch hearts”. Praising his talent actor Hari Bansha Acharya added, “Every child has his/her own talent which shouldn’t be undermined.”
He has also worked as a child artist in many Nepali films and tele-serials.
