Sting’s kids won’t inherit his fortune

LONDON: Sting has revealed that his six children will not inherit much from his £180 million fortune after he dies because he will spend it all.

The 62-year-old singer has admitted that he and his wife Trudie Styler enjoyed a very lavish lifestyle and they did not save their hard-earned cash, the Mirror reported.

The Last Ship hitmaker said that his children knew that they had to work to earn money and he really appreciates that they rarely ask him for anything.

Sting asserted that if his children were in trouble he would help them, but he never really had to do that and they had this work ethic that made them want to succeed on their own merit.

The Grammy award winner added that his experience of performing in pubs for £10 a night before finding fame added “resilience and toughness” to his work ethics and if all the fortune was given him on the plate, he neither would have appreciated it nor survived it.
