KATHMANDU: The rains cut short the October 20 Strings concert. Another concert ‘on special request’ had been planned for October 22, but that too had to be cancelled, states a Strings press release issued on Sunday.

The statement issued by manager of Strings, Shilpa Nayak, states, “We wanted to do another concert, for free, for the same people who had bought the tickets for the earlier show, but unfortunately time is too short... and our drummer is unwell. Thus, it is not possible to perform today and we regret the same.”

The ‘Gladiator Strings Concert — Life Rocks’ had been presented by IIFT Plantain. However, due to the late start, Strings could only perform five songs before being forced to abandon the concert due to rains on Friday.
