KATHMANDU: Indipop sensation Akriti and DJ Carlotta Lackman are to perform at the Rhythm Nites to be held on December 1 Hotel Yak and Yeti in Kathmandu, and on December 2 at Hotel Shangrila in Pokhara.

Akriti is a winner of various talent competitions like BPL music mania, Sangam kala group, Kala darpan and many more. She is now better known as a playback singer for the latest Bollywood movies Dus (Chham se vo aa jaye) and Rocky (One night stand — o jaana love you miss you har lamha).

She has sung on various pop and remix albums like Ek sapna, Punjabi pop dhamaka 2000 and Baby doll Chapter 2, where she sung Rangeela re, a chart topping remix. Akriti’s debut remix album is called A-Teen, featuring the hit track Jal bin machli.

Along with Akriti and DJ Carlotta, DJ Sazz will be there to rock you.

Rhythm Nites is presented by Surya Lights, a product of Surya Nepal. Other Rhythm Nites will be held in Dharan, Biratnagar, Narayangar and Butwal with singer Preeti Kaur, DJ Bman and DJ Yell from December 9 onwards.
