The big day is almost here and the anticipation has been building for the last so many weeks. The Lux Supermodel Hunt organised by Unilever Nepal Ltd will come to an end on September 22 with the crowning of the Lux Supermodel who will walk away with a cash prize of Rs 50,000.

Seventeen-year-old Shristy Tamang just wants to experience what’s it like to be a model. And Lux Supermodel Hunt, according to her, will give girls more opportunities to do something in a male-dominated country like Nepal.

Shristy wants to be a doctor because she wants to serve the needy. And if she wins the title, whe will do some sort of work that will benefit the poor.

She loves Nepali food, enjoys listening and Dharan is her favourite place, while her colour of choice is black. Her dad is her favourite person, but she just cannot stand earthworms and leeches.

“A supermodel must be beautiful, cheerful and have a pleasing personality,” says Shristy who favourite international personality is Angelina Jolie.
