Sri Lanka Food and Cultural Festival was held at Nepa Dhuku Ballroom on May 29. The festival was organised by Radisson Hotel in association with The Embassy of Sri Lanka. A t roupe from Sri Lanka was invited to entertain the guests before the banquet. They performed various traditional dances to entertain the audience and give them a glimpse of the rich culture and tradition of the beautiful country.Grace A Asirwatham, ambassador of Sri Lanka to Nepal said that she was happy to welcome the guests for the festival and take them to the world of the beautiful country of Sri Lanka and reveal the rich culture and heritage of the country. Some of the best Sri Lankan traditional rich culinary dishes were waiting for the guests after the programme. The festival will continue till May 31 at the Radisson Hotel. — HNS
