KATHMANDU: Though it looks like a cakewalk but cooking meal for the family and the occasional guest is not as easy as we assume. While the ladies spend almost half their life in the kitchen, family members usually think that the dishes on the dinning table appear magically. For those who love cooking and feeding people or just have to cook out of duty, here are few easy tips to make your work around the kitchen much more smooth.

Drop a potato or two into it. Absorbs the over salt.

Rub butter on your hands or wherever the smell is to be removed.
