Kathmandu:

Tewa, a social service organisation, felicitated the nine Nepali women nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize at Tewa Bhawan, Dhapakhel on 4 September. The nine nominees were Rita Thapa, Sahana Pradhan, Binda Pande, Jhamak Ghimire, Anju Chettri, Stella Tamang, Jagan Subba Gurung, Ching Lamu Sherpa and Indira Shrestha. The ceremony was graced by senior academician and acclaimed social worker Angur Baba Joshi along with 300 other VIP’s.
