Tipped as “one of the hottest bands playing the Delhi scene,” HFT are heading for Kathmandu to give our music aficionados the best there could be in jazz. Catch them for a one-of-its-kind live show only at the Jazz Gourmet, Shangri-La Hotel on Friday 29 July 2005. The Himalayan Times is the official media for the event. HFT is Lew Hilt on bass, Arjun Sen on guitar and Bhuvan Sachdeva on drums. Their brand of music has been described as “music of the moment” and is a funky fusion drawing from jazz, rock, funk and blues creating an easy conversation that ranges from the lyrical to the chaotic. HFT has invited some famous Nepali musicians including Nirakar and Sanjay from 1974 AD, Vikku from Rusty Nails and Binod from Full Circle to join them on a megajam in the second half of the show. The show will start at 7 pm on Friday 29 July 2005 at Hotel Shangri-La. The NRs 1,299/- ticket includes snacks and a Jazz Gourmet Buffet.
