Magician David Blaine has completed another of his mind-boggling stunts. After spending two days spinning above New York in a machine called a ‘gyroscope’, he wriggled his way out of padlocks and jumped free. It only took Blaine 15 minutes to get out of the shackles, which were put around his waist and feet. The three spinning steel rings flipped Blaine in various directions up to eight times per minute. Before he started Blaine said: “This is more difficult than anything I’ve ever done.” Now he’s done it, he plans to take 100 poor children on a shopping spree.
