She was crowned Miss Nepal in 1999, today Shweta Singh is the showroom manager of Samsung Plaza and also a lecturer at Namuna College of Fashion Technology.

Despite her hectic schedule, she manages to spend quality time with her family during weekends.

We are total party animals. Whenever it’s Friday, we get ready to party all night long. We usually go to Latin Quarters for some Salsa or to Galaxy at The Hotel Everest. We love dancing, so it’s fun to be there and enjoy the weekend together. But recently we have calmed down a bit as my husband has given up drinking.

We have a big family where all the cousins are of same age, and we are more like friends and hang out together a lot. Usually on Friday evenings, everyone gangs up at my place for dinner and head for parties.

If we have to go out for dinner, it’s usually just me and my hubby Bikash. We are big time foodies and are keen on trying out new food. We also usually opt for special authentic cuisine. When we want to try Chinese, we go one particular authentic Chinese restaurant. He is a good chef and prepares dishes himself when people come over. His foods are so popular that whenever our office has any microwave cooking training sessions, the sales girls call him up for some new recipes. As for me I love his Chinese style roasted chicken.

We are busy most of the time so on Saturdays we make best of it. My hubby is very interested in taking pictures, so we go to different places and enjoy the whole day.

Last week we went to Patan Durbar Square and this week we are going to Shivapuri.

As for my most memorable weekend, it has to be the time when whole family went to Kurintar. We wanted to take break from work and it was rejuvenating and fun. I enjoyed the stay a lot.
