LONDON: Newly single Prince Harry stood up visiting American socialite Paris Hilton when he cancelled their midnight date at the last moment. The young royal who recently split up with his girlfriend of five years, Chelsy Davy, had planned to meet hotel heiress Paris Hilton who is in town to promote her new reality show Paris Hilton’s British Best Friend. But he cancelled it at the last minute, leaving the 27-year-old heiress without a date for the night, Daily Mail reported.

Prince Harry did not even show the courtesy of calling up Hilton to cancel the date, and instead it was his bodyguard who broke the news to her, the paper said.

“Paris had spoken directly with Harry to arrange their meeting. She was pretty annoyed that Harry blew her out but said that they may well meet on her next trip to London,” a source close to the reality show star told the newspaper.
