Whitney Houston in rare interview with Oprah
NEW YORK: Whitney Houston speaks! And will probably sing, when the songstress (l.) goes head to head with Oprah Winfrey for a show to air Sept. 14 at 4 p.m. on WABC/Ch. 7.
Winfrey called the visit "the most anticipated music interview of the decade."
Houston, once one of the biggest stars in music, has been plagued by tabloid tales and a troubled marriage to Bobby Brown, which ended in divorce.
The Winfrey appearance is her first interview in nearly seven years. Her last, the memorable sit-down with Diane Sawyer on ABC in 2002, dealt with allegations of drug use and more. During that interview, Houston uttered the memorable line: " We don't do crack. We don't do that. Crack is wack."
Houston's CD "I Look to You" hits stores Aug. 31.
