The music lovers i have a great treat coming up as the femme fatal from various walks of life are all set for the Women in Concert, Part V. The event being organised by Initiative International is being held on October 5 at Hotel Yak & Yeti.

This year the event has added a new flavour with the inclusion of Hindi and Nepali songs to it’s list of genres of music. The night is going to be groovy even after the concert with a dance session with DJ Payal where even the artists can let their hair down and boogie.

The concert, which is being held with the objective of providing a platform for aspiring female artists, will contribute its proceedings to an organisation called Sewa Kendra Leprosy Relief.

The artists performing this year are Abhaya Subba, Preeti Kaur, Yankey Ongmu Lepcha, Rachana Gurung Sharma, Sheri Thapa, Stuty Maskey, Arati Gurung, Salina Lama, Ayesha Giri, Bandana Tamang and DJ Payal.

The event is managed Wiz International, produced by Life is Beautiful and the title is sponsored by Tuborg. The co sponsors are Qatar Airways, VLCC, and Jolly, with The Himalayan Times as the official print media.
