Wonderful Pokhara moments
The students of Classes XI and XII were taken on a trip to the lovely city of Pokhara.
We started early and sang songs along the way, stopped for lunch at Kurintar and when we saw the signboard saying ‘Welcome to Pokhara’, our joy knew no bounds.
At the hotel, we freshened up and spent the evening around a bonfire. We retired to bed early as we were tired.
We got our wakeup call early the next morning at 4:30, and boarded a bus for Sarankot. Then we walked for 45 minutes to reach the view point. The view from up there was beautiful, like paradise. But we couldn’t see the sun rise as the morning was foggy.
On our way back we visited the Brindabasini temple and went to the hotel for breakfast.
We then visited the Davis’ falls, and made our way to the museum afterwards. It was really interesting. After lunch, we headed to Fewa lake and were also given half-an-hour for shopping.
We got a lovely surprise after dinner that evening. Our teachers took us to a disco where we had a blast. Only ladies were allowed and we danced to rap, rock and remix numbers.
At around six the next morning, we walked to Seti gorge.
Then we packed our bags after breakfast and got ready to leave this beautiful place. We were sad, but we had captured our memories of Pokhara in our cameras. However, a truly wonderful trip had come to an end.
