Zeta-Jones’ kids demand

LONDON:

Catherine Zeta-Jones vowed to leave Michael Douglas when they were dating if he didn’t want children with her. The actress revealed her 62-year-old husband wooed her with the chat-up line, “I want to father you children”, but made sure he was sincere before making a commitment to him.

She told Parade magazine, “A few months after we started dating and I was already in love with him. But there was one thing I had to be sure of. I turned to him and said, ‘Do you really want children?’ And I thought, for one minute, he was going to say, ‘I already have a son, Cameron,’ and I would have then had to say goodbye. I remember saying defiantly, ‘I cannot live without having children.’ And he went, ‘Me too.’”

They have two children, Dylan, six, and four-year-old Carys.

She admits life couldn’t be any better. “I’m crazy in love with my husband. I love my children and adore just watching them grow and change.”
