The price of gold surged by Rs 800 per tola on Wednesday, hitting a new record in the domestic market.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is now being traded at Rs 153,000 per tola as of Thursday, an increase from Rs 152,200 per tola on Tuesday.
Similarly, the price of silver also saw a rise of Rs 15 per tola, with the current trading price at Rs 1,835 per tola, up from Rs 1,820 per tola on Tuesday.
