KATHMANDU, July 31
The meteorological forecast division has issued warnings of heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in some areas of Bagmati province on Monday. Similar weather conditions are also likely in certain places within Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces throughout the day.
Meanwhile, the weather across the country is expected to be generally cloudy throughout the day and night .
Moreover, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in a few locations of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, as well as in some places of other provinces.
As the day progresses into the night, the weather will continue to be generally cloudy. Some areas in the Koshi, Bagmati, Madhesh, and Lumbini provinces, along with a few places in other provinces, may experience light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning.
However, one or two places in the provinces of Koshi, Bagmati, Madhesh, and Lumbini could encounter heavy rainfall with thunder and lightning.
