KATHMANDU, JULY 21
Various provinces across the country are likely to experience light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning, according to the Meteorological Forecast Division (MFD) on Sunday. Additionally, skies throughout the country will remain partly to generally cloudy today.
According to MFD, some places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces are likely to experience light to moderate rainfall today. In addition, a few places in the rest of the country are also likely to experience rainfall. This weather pattern is expected to continue through the night in Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as the hilly regions of Koshi and Bagmati provinces and a few places in the rest of the country.
The MFD has also predicted that there are chances of heavy rainfall in one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces today, which is likely to continue tonight in some places in Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.
Currently, the country is under the influence of monsoon winds.
