The 'Biodiversity and Red Panda-Tahr International Conference 2083' concluded in Diktel with a seven-point declaration focusing on conservation and sustainable development.
The declaration emphasises biodiversity protection, eco-tourism promotion, nature-based livelihoods and human-wildlife conflict management, along with strengthening local and international cooperation.
Mayor Tirtharaj Bhattarai of Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadi Municipality said the conference marked a important step in conservation efforts. Participants from countries including Nepal, India, Bhutan, Bangladesh, the United States, Australia and Germany attended the three-day event.
