KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 22

The Millsberry Inter A-Level Basketball Tournament 2026 wrapped up successfully on Sunday, showcasing top-level competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship among leading A-Level institutions.

In the Girls' Final, Malpi Institute defeated Global College 4–2 in a tightly contested match, demonstrating strong defense and composure under pressure. Srijana Giri of Malpi Institute was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) for her outstanding performance.

The Boys' Final saw Malpi Institute face Millsberry A Levels in a high-intensity encounter. Malpi Institute emerged victorious with a 19–13 win, with Saeran Shrestha earning the MVP title for his exceptional contribution on the court.

The prize distribution ceremony was attended by Bhim Singh Gurung, President of the Nepal Basketball Association (NeBA), as Chief Guest, alongside Sushil Dahal, Executive Chairman of Millsberry, and Mona Dahal, Executive Director/Principal of Millsberry. The dignitaries congratulated the winners and lauded all participants for their dedication and sportsmanship.

Highlighting the event, the organizers emphasized Millsberry's commitment to holistic education, balancing academic achievement with physical development, leadership, and character building.

The tournament concluded with a vote of thanks extended to all participating institutions, referees, organizers, and supporters who contributed to the success of the event.
