KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 14

Millsberry were crowned champions of the 9th Kasthamandap Inter A-Level Boys' Basketball Tournament on Friday, securing the title after an impressive run throughout the competition.

In the final, Bishesh Shakya scored four points for Millsberry, while Saransh Bhattarai and Sangharsh Kathayat contributed two points each. For NAMI College, Pame Hang Rai scored six points.

Shakya was declared the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament in recognition of his outstanding performance.

Earlier in the semifinals, Millsberry edged past host Kasthamandap College 15–14 to book their place in the final. In the other semifinal, NAMI College defeated Islington College 11–5 to set up the championship clash.

The winners were awarded by Nepal Basketball Association President Bhim Singh Gurung, Kasthamandap's Founder and Principal Dr. Shiva Thapa, and Founder Ila Piya at a special ceremony.

According to Kasthamandap's ECA In-Charge Sundar Budhathoki, six teams participated in the two-day tournament, which was held under a league-cum-knockout format.
