The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology said heavy rain is likely at one or two places in the Himalayan, hilly and Terai regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and in the hilly and Terai regions of Lumbini Province. Windstorms are also possible at a few places in Madhesh Province and the Terai regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.
Moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is expected at many places in the hilly regions and at some places in the Terai. Moderate rain or snowfall with thunderstorms is also likely at some places in the Himalayan regions.
