KATHMANDU, APRIL 1

The Ministry of Health and Population has recalled seven more senior health service officers from deputation (Kaaj) to their original postings, following a decision taken on March 31.

According to the Ministry, the decision affects doctors at the 9th and 10th levels serving in various hospitals and health institutions across the country.

Among those recalled, Dr. Dinesh Shiwakoti, a senior consultant dermatologist, has been sent back from Kanti Children's Hospital to Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj.

Similarly, Dr. Chunu Darnal, consultant ENT surgeon, has been recalled from Bharatpur Hospital to Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences, while Dr. Pramod Kattel, senior consultant obstetrician and gynecologist, has been transferred from Paropakar Maternity and Women's Hospital to the same academy in Pokhara.

Dr. Sohani Bajracharya, consultant microbiologist, has been recalled from the National Public Health Laboratory to Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences.

Likewise, Dr. Shyam Kishor Chaudhary, consultant oral and maxillofacial surgeon, has been sent back from Bir Hospital to Bharatpur Hospital, while Dr. Diwas Sapkota, consultant radiologist, has been recalled from Bharatpur Hospital to Narayani Hospital, Parsa.

Dr. Ranju Pokharel, consultant dermatologist, has been transferred from Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences to Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital, Saptari.

The Ministry said the move is part of administrative adjustments to ensure effective service delivery across health institutions.
