KATHMANDU: Thirteen persons were injured as a private car plowed into the pavement outside Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) building in Sundhara this afternoon.

Identities of the injured are yet to be ascertained. Of the 13 injured, three are known to be in critical condition including one Filipino national.

The incident occurred when the private vehicle exiting NAC building turned right and rammed into the footpath, injuring pedestrians nearby at 2:45 pm.

The injured have been taken to the National Trauma Centre for emergency treatment.
