KATHMANDU: Police on Saturday arrested as many as 19 persons for their alleged involvement in gambling activities from a guesthouse in Maharajgunj of Kathmandu.

Police arrested them from the third floor of Kohinoor Restaurant and Guesthouse in possession of Rs 246,550 cash and three decks of playing cards.

The arrestees also include the restaurant owner Radha Paudel, according to police.
