KATHMANDU: Police on Saturday arrested two persons with illegal gold from Gongabu of Kathmandu.

They seized 758 gram precious yellow metal broken into 14 pieces from Kul Prasad Isal (64), a permanent resident of Banganga Municipality-14 of Kapilvastu and Lilraj Sapkota (29), a resident of Saljhandi-6 of Rupandehi district.

The duo were residing at the Pratiksha Guest House in Mitra Nagar, Gongabu of the Capital, police said.

Further investigation is underway.
