KATHMANDU: Two persons were injured in a microbus accident in Kusunthali of Kathmandu district on Monday.

The injured have been identified as driver Bijay Chaulagain (26) of the same area and assistant driver Ajay Chaulagain (18) of Sindhupalchok.

According to police, the incident occurred after the four-wheeler (Ba 1 Ja 9708) suffered a brake failure at around 8:45 pm.

The microbus fell some 15 metres down the road.

Bijay is said to be in critical condition, police said.

Both the injured are being treated at the Attarkhel-based Nepal Medical College.
